What we collect

When you complete a screening, we collect your item responses and optional demographic information (age bracket, gender identity, race/ethnicity). That is all.

What we do not collect

  • Your name or email address
  • Your IP address
  • Browser fingerprints or device identifiers
  • Cookies that link to other sessions or systems
  • Geographic data below state level

Your screening data is anonymous by design. We cannot identify who you are, and we have no mechanism to link your responses to you after the session ends.

Research use

Anonymous screening responses may be used to improve screening tools and understand mental health patterns. Findings may be published in academic reports. Because your data is anonymous, it cannot be linked back to you.

Data retention

Anonymous response data is retained indefinitely for research purposes. Because the data is anonymous, we cannot retrieve or delete individual responses.

Psyche bridge

If you choose to take your results to Psyche, your screening scores (not raw responses) will be linked to your Psyche account and subject to Psyche's privacy policy. Your original responses remain anonymous in our research database.
